Although nothing can slow aging, injectable dermal fillers have been used for many years to successfully and safely slow or even reverse the effects. Although their methods may vary, the ease and recovery from dermal filler treatments are relatively similar. Regardless of the type, the treatment sessions last less than 30 minutes, and there is little to no recovery or restrictions after. For the first day or two after each treatment, you may feel soreness and mild redness around the injection site. This is normal and begins to fade very quickly.
It is advised to avoid strenuous activity for a few days after treatment and avoid impact on the treated area for at least a week to achieve the best results. Most patients, however, return to their everyday life without restriction as soon as they leave the office.
