“98, 99, 100.” sit-ups, crunches, weight training, and lean dieting can get you one step closer to having rock hard abs. But, if you have been working hard on getting those sexy abs yet you still aren’t quite to wear you want to be, don’t concede and assume you will never have abs that the rock would be jealous of. Sometimes, you can plateau, and it can seem hard to build any more muscle or get the definition that you want. So, what can you do? Let’s take a closer look.
Meet with a new trainer
If you are your own trainer or if you have been working with the same personal trainer but haven’t been getting better results, then it’s time to meet with a new one. Trainers are specialized in helping people, like you, get through these small weight loss hurdles and finally get the results that you want. If you find a good trainer, they will cater your workouts towards you and your body type so that you get the exact type of results that you want and need.
Get Body contouring
Here at our office, Dr. Silverman likes to use a body contouring procedure called Sculpsure. Sculpsure uses laser technology t help patients get rid of excess fat without having to undergo surgery. The great thing about Sculpsure, in particular, is that it responds exceptionally well on small areas of the body like the abdomen.
Hitting the gym hard every day and eating a diet high in lean protein without getting the abdominal results that you want can make you feel defeated. But, having your weight plateau at a certain point is reasonable and sometimes you may need a little kickstart or help.
