During this appointment as well, is when he will be able to determine if you should be recovered in time for the holidays or if it’s something that you should wait to do later on.
Schedule Surgery For the Beginning of the Month
If you and Dr. Silverman decide that you should be almost fully recovered before Thanksgiving, then you will want to schedule your appointment for as close to the beginning of the month as possible; the more time you have to recover, the better off you will be in the long run.
Get Help With Heavy Lifting
Even after you recover at home for a week, we still like all of our breast augmentation patients to avoid any unnecessary heavy lifting until they have fully healed. If you are hosting Thanksgiving at your house, try to see if you can get some help lifting the turkey and moving furniture around; the less work you have to do, the smoother the healing process will go.
